Andy Levison Shares Toolbag Tricks and Methods --

Hi all, the March meeting of the New York Professional Videographers has been moved up a week due to the Religious Holidays. It is THIS MONDAY-MARCH 18!! The meeting is to be lead by non-other than the award winning videographer for the Borough of Staten Island, Andy Levison!
You've seen his documentaries and reportage in theaters, on TV and on the Internet. He'll lead us in discussion and demonstration on the preparation/checklist for a less stressful shoot. We'll start with brushing up on basics (white balance under different color temps; exposure & iris control for different lighting conditions, back lighting, spot lighting, zebras-especially with mixed skin tones; composition & framing; shutter speed--ask about those rain/fountain shots. Audio too. We'll then share advanced shooting techniques like those artsy shots where everyone else is moving faster/slower than you, lock down shots, appear/disappear, split screen, clever transitions, and more! This is to be INTERACTIVE- BRING your CAMERA! Share Your Favorite Techniques!! Bring Your questions and answers!!!
Don't forget to bring your footage for some 'Show Us Your Stuff,' too. See you THIS MONDAY! 7 pm at Student Filmmakers, 1123 Broadway, at 25th Street.
