Fearless,
Flawless, Audio 101 was how he put it. Anthony
Francese threw outwords like,DB, Clipping, Watch your
Voltage Meters,Wear your Headset...don’t weall!..impedance,balanced
and unbalanced connectors. Wearing 3 different microphones, we could
hardly tell when he was cardiod, unidirectional and hypercardiod.Video
clips running from within Powerpoint showed us how to set up multiple
audio feeds in the church and the reception. He concluded by giving us
the audio sweetening treatment, using the “Pan Pot”and Graphic
Equalizer from within the Canopus program. Well done Anthony Francese
and thank you.

DanBitcon...A
Multi Award Weva Winner. “Hey Karen...What’s your advice
on producing an Award Winning Demo..” and we all looked around
for Karen...She was on tape and Dan had her cued up for the Q/A. Closeups,
slow motion, expressions, tears, laughter, good framing, a varietyof
shots...all great advice. “Listen to music, especially film soundtracks....I
watch MTV alot and think out of the box” was how she put it. “Have
fun and get really into it, enjoy the edit process.”
Dan’s award winning demos have only been used for the past three
years. “It’s become a calling card and you have got to create
the emotion,” according to Dan. “We love to celebrate Diversity,”
he says and it shows. Congratulations Dan Bitcon and thanks for sharing.
See you at Weva 2002.
